Scalability upgrade, Downtime on May 27th

Due to ever increasing amount of data stored in our system (which is good for your forecasts) we had to architect and prepare an upgrade to our storage. This one will allow us to store 100x more data than the previous system, while improving the overall performance at the same time.

Normally, upgrades and improvements to the business analytics infrastructure of Lokad happen transparently. For example, improving quality of forecasts or introducing innovative models does not interrupt normal operations.

Yet, migrating our storage technology to the next level is slightly out of ordinary and will require a short downtime to deliver the upgrade. Our services will be unavailable for six hours from 8:00 AM till 2:00 PM (UTC) on Wednesday (May 27).

We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and look forward to providing better services for you with this upgrade.
