2018 has been a fantastic year for Lokad - we achieved more than 50% growth while remaining profitable. For 2019, I am wishing the best to our all clients who trusted us and made this possible.

Anecdotally, in 2018 among the employees of Lokad French citizens have become a minority, representing no more than 40% of the workforce. Our customer base was already highly international, as France amounts for less than 20% of our revenue, and now the very composition of the Lokad team is catching up with the diversity of our clients, and the reach of their own supply chains.

Supply chains are more global than ever, and digitalization offers tremendous potential for improving service, productivity and making our modern way of life more sustainable. Quantitative Supply Chain is the path that Lokad has adopted to make the most of what digitalization has to offer. It’s a journey though, and our insights have progressed a lot in 2018; I expect they will keep progressing as fast in 2019.

The activity on this blog has been a bit low lately - not because we had nothing new to announce but, quite the opposite, because the Lokad team - myself included - were a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of customer demand, which required tons of newer elements to be put in production in our systems.

Over the next coming weeks, I will try to catch-up with our backlog of released-yet-not-announced features that have already become part of Lokad’s platform. I am personally very proud of the technical work that has been delivered by the Lokad team, and those deliverables deserve some spotlights. Stay tuned!

Best wishes to all for 2019!
